About the Client

NOTUS Finance, a key player in Poland’s mortgage brokerage market, helps clients navigate offers from multiple banks. To keep pace with rapid changes in mortgage terms, the company needed a flexible solution for real-time updates.

Project Needs

NOTUS needed a system that could:

  • Be managed directly by business users without constant developer involvement.
  • Rapidly update bank offers and sales processes in response to frequent, often unannounced changes.
  • Integrate seamlessly with the existing CRM.
  • Automate key customer service processes while ensuring compliance with GDPR.

Process and The Role of Higson

After evaluating Drools, Camunda, and Higson, NOTUS chose Higson as the most cost-effective and flexible solution:

  • Drools was eliminated due to high costs linked to SLA requirements.
  • Camunda was ruled out because its BPMN process modeling required constant developer support.‍
